Dosages: Begin with 1-2 tablespoons of kefir every morning for 4 days. Make sure there is no die-off effect. Increase to 4 oz over the course of 2 weeks. If your body craves more kefir then go for more. Add in 4-6 oz of lemonade per day or as symptoms heal (for pain, nausea, vomiting). Add 1 tablespoon per day of kraut, increasing to 2-3 per day.

Had a flare of colitis start after getting some acute GI bug while traveling. I started with several days of a liquid diet (bone broth etc) I started to add back in some food as well as these products from fermenting fairy. I am starting to feel so much better and think these products have really helped me. I can tell my body is craving fermented food and started also adding in my own home fermented milk kefir. Best Kefir products out there even if you ferment at home you can't take the ferments with you on the plane so you can order from the ferment fairy to have it shipped to your destination if staying with family or a friend and you can continue on drinking and healing while visiting. I have been using the chrons/colitis kit for almost 6 days now. I started using it with a bad case of thrush and it has completely gone away since using it. I've had UC for 13-ish years. Like Lauren's story with her Crhon's, I have been on a variety of meds this entire time, including Prednisone at times. I was using the restroom 5-10 times per day and supplementing my prescribed meds with immodium. I received some very disturbing news from my UC doctor after an annual colonoscopy (April 2021). He advised I needed to see a colon surgeon right away because dysplasia was detected. Dysplasia is a changing of the cell structure inside my colon which will ultimately lead to colon cancer. The remedy is to remove my colon. I am 51 and that was shocking news, to say the least. The colon surgeon recommended before doing that, he wanted to have his UC team take a look at my overall UC situation and determine if they would suggest another course of care/treatment. They switched my medication from Humira to Xeljanz. Around the same time, my brother sent me a link to a Darin Olien podcast and he had Lauren on as a guest. I ordered her products after listening to her story and the reason for creating these products. Full disclosure, I also started taking Balance of Nature fruit and vegetable capsules also around the same time.
My latest colonoscopy (Dec 2021) came back with fantastic results. My UC severity level went from a 7 out of 10 when I first visited my new doctor 6 months prior to a 1 out of 10, 6 months later. My doc said "congrats and Merry Christmas, you get to keep your colon". I feel like I have my UC massively under control and am now looking to evolve into getting off my medication.
To recap, between the 3 changes I made: 1. switched to Xeljanz, 2. taking Lauren's UC/Crhon's kit, and 3. taking Balance of Nature, my condition has drastically improved...to the degree I no longer have to remove my colon. Due to this new regimen still being new to me, I hope to continue to see additional improvement and, ultimately, remission from this disease.
