My gut history, pre-fermented foods, was, by all standards, really good. Perspective is the only basis which we have to judge good and bad and when you feel good you naturally begin to believe everything is as good as it can get. Regular bowel movements, great feelings after meals, no digestive issues and fantastic health can leave you believing you're good and there's no way things could be better. At 69 years, near perfect health, great skin and complexion, no medications, high energy levels and working 8-12 hours per day, you know you're good. Really- But nothing could be further from the truth. Gut microbial health, the proper balance of beneficial microbiome for what you eat is vital and the results are absolutely amazing. Do you use vinegar and sugar to ferment?

No! We use a lacto-fermentation process. We create an anaerobic environment for the cabbage (and other veggies) so there is no need for external additives to ferment. Lacto does not mean dairy. Lacto refers to lactic acid bacteria that proliferate in an anaerobic environment.

What is the suggested serving size for your kraut?
